ROSE NJOKI
I was in an orphanage all my life. After getting my identification card I was expected to move out and continue with my life. I do not have words to describe how it was because I was forced to look for relatives, I was not familiar with. Fortunately, one of my aunties took me in and introduced me to Ujima.

I was so happy, I told myself this was the only opportunity that I had. My experience with the training program was so transforming. Every day there was something new to learn. I learned about my strengths and weaknesses, and to accept myself.
I worked hard to achieve my goals. I learned to appreciate others and choose friends who add value to my life. Growing up at an orphanage, I was expected to move out after I came of age. Ujima Foundation helped me learn a lot and achieve my goals.
